Well Mom had her surgery and is doing pretty good. Took twice as long as it should have though. We came home last Saturday, but had to go back on Tuesday. I was very tired after waiting and worrying about Mom.

This weekend is Downtown Christmas in Jackson and we are currently working on decorating the library into Santa's workshop. :-)

I feel so tired this evening, I need to take a vacation, but that will have to wait until after Mom has her surgery. She goes next week and I pray that all will work out.

My eight-year old nephew is now over five feet tall. I am sure that he will be taller than me by Christmas. :-)

I am happy that the government has changed hands, it is never good when one sector is in power for long periods of time. Change is necessary.
